On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, Charles DeStefano was elected to the Executive Board of the Staten Island Trial Lawyers Association as Secretary of the organization.  The term of office is one year and the duties include preparation of agenda, minutes of meetings, and communications.

He is the only attorney to have served as Secretary twice (and also served as the President from 2014 to 2016).
